These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Valetfy website, web app, QR payment links, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Valetfy provides QR-code card-payment software for small, mobile, and in-person sellers. Operators can create exact-amount QR payment links, product checkouts, and customer-chosen tips. Customers review and approve each payment in a browser.
Valetfy supplies payment software. The operator—not Valetfy—sets the price, describes and provides the underlying goods or services, handles fulfillment, and supports the customer.
You must be able to form a legally binding contract and comply with applicable law. If you use the Service for a business, you represent that you have authority to act for that business and bind it to these Terms.
You are responsible for your account, phone-based sign-in, connected payment account, devices, QR codes, and activity under your access. Keep payment, receipt, and administrative links private when they are intended for a specific person. Notify us promptly if you believe access has been compromised.
Operators are responsible for:
Valetfy does not silently or automatically charge customers. A customer must open a checkout, review the amount and available payment method, and approve the transaction. Operators may not misrepresent what a customer is approving.
Card and wallet payments are processed by Stripe. Operators must connect and maintain an eligible Stripe account and may be subject to Stripe's agreements, verification, reserves, payout timing, risk controls, and prohibited-business rules. Valetfy is not a bank and does not hold itself out as one.
Payment-method availability can vary by customer, device, browser, country, currency, and Stripe configuration. Valetfy does not guarantee that every payment method will appear for every checkout.
When a Valetfy service fee applies, the checkout displays it before the customer approves payment. The customer's total may include the operator's amount, an optional gratuity where offered, and the disclosed Valetfy fee. Receipts record the transaction information available to the Service.
Refunds are not self-issued by customers in the Valetfy app. Customers should contact the operator that provided the goods or services. The operator decides and initiates refunds subject to its policy, Stripe's rules, and applicable law. A customer may also raise a dispute through the card issuer or payment provider.
Refund timing, dispute outcomes, and the return of fees can depend on Stripe, the payment method, the operator's available balance, and financial institutions. Valetfy does not promise a refund outcome that the operator, Stripe, or applicable law does not require.
If you provide a phone number or enable notifications, Valetfy and its service providers may send transactional texts about sign-in, account recovery, payment activity, receipts, setup, or other requested Service activity. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing goods or services from an operator.
You agree not to:
The Service depends on third parties such as Stripe, hosting, authentication, messaging, analytics, media, and error-monitoring providers. Their services and terms may apply separately. We are not responsible for third-party outages, delivery failures, account decisions, or policy changes outside our control.
We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features. We may also update these Terms. The date above identifies the latest revision. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular sales result, or that every attempted payment will succeed.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valetfy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from the Service. Our total liability for claims related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid Valetfy in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if you paid Valetfy nothing.
If you use Valetfy for a business, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Valetfy harmless from claims arising from your goods or services, pricing, taxes, fulfillment, customer disputes, staff conduct, legal violations, or misuse of the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
